DroneFleetHQ
A one-person SaaS with eight paying customers and real regulatory stakes.

#01 The product
Professional drone operators juggle aircraft inventories, pilot certifications, mission planning, and a wall of regulatory paperwork. DroneFleetHQ puts all of it in one platform: fleet, missions, crew, and compliance.
Each drone profile tracks specifications, flight history, and maintenance records. Mission planning is map-driven — click to set departure and arrival, define routes and altitudes, attach safety checklists, then run post-mission analysis. Automatic DJI flight log import removes the most tedious data entry.
#02 Engineering
Built solo under the DevJoys studio: React + TypeScript frontend, Supabase (PostgreSQL, Auth, Storage) backend, Leaflet for interactive mission maps, and PDF generation for compliance exports.
Compliance is the sharp edge of the domain — the document management module tracks licenses, permits, and certifications with expiration dates, because a lapsed permit can ground a commercial operation. Crew management links pilots and technicians to their qualifications.
As a one-person product, everything is automated: testing, monitoring, analytics, and incident response. When something breaks at 2 AM, the on-call rotation is short.
#03 Traction
DroneFleetHQ is live with eight paying customers and ~$240 in monthly recurring revenue — small, real, and growing. It is the flagship proof that I can own a product end-to-end: discovery, architecture, delivery, support, and revenue.
