Bananeresi
Designing a dynamic questionnaire that can safely resume even when the visible question set changes with user context.

#01 The product
Bananeresi is a web product that walks someone through international relocation options with a guided, personalized analysis. It collects profile and intent, then shows country-specific information and pathway analysis. It is not a law firm, and it does not guarantee legal or immigration eligibility.
Country and content pages carry the informational layer. When someone wants a person involved, the product can hand the lead to an expert or partner. Guidance and that handoff stay separate: the analysis explains pathways; it does not issue an eligibility decision.
#02 Questionnaire state
The questionnaire skips questions the profile already answers. Visibility is conditional, so the set of questions on screen changes with context. A draft cannot be “question number 7” if question 7 might not exist on the next visit.
Progress is stored by question id and step id. On resume, the client loads the saved id, rebuilds the questions that are visible for the current profile, finds the matching question, and continues the analysis from there. Conditional questions can appear or disappear without sending the user to the wrong step.
#03 Engineering
The durable pieces are a normalized profile, stable question identity, and a visible-question set that is derived rather than stored as a fixed list. Analysis output is structured from that context so country-specific guidance stays attached to the pathway, not to a one-off form post.
Content architecture — country and pathway pages — is separate from the draft state machine. SEO-oriented pages can describe a country without owning the user’s in-progress answers, and the expert handoff does not rewrite the informational result.
